Things to do in London over the Easter Holidays


Easter is coming up soon, and with lots going on it’s a perfect time to visit London! The Victory Services Club is ideally located for activities all over the city.

A real hidden gem in London, Chelsea Physic Garden is London’s oldest botanical garden. With glasshouses, woodland gardens, historical walks and even a medicinal garden there are lots of things to see and do. A great place to while away an afternoon.



Discovery Day – Marvelous Mammals
Discover Day - Hyde Park

Where: Hyde Park

When: 10th & 11th April

The Royal Parks are full of wildlife, from birds to squirrels and foxes and owls! On 10th and 11th April the discovery centre in Hyde Park are hosting some learning sessions where kids can learn all about how the animals in the parks are looked after. Play some animal survival games and make some crafts to take home with you!



The Passion of Jesus
Passion of Jesus - Trafalgar Square

Where: Trafalgar Square

When: Good Friday 19th April

100 players will take part in an open air production of the Passion of Jesus, bringing Easter to life in the heart of London. Supported by the Mayor of London, this performance is free to attend and will be shown on big screens in the square.



Kensington Palace Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt

The home of Queen Victoria, nestled in Kensington Gardens is hosting a Gold Bunny Hunt! With large gold bunnies hidden around the palace and gardens. Great for children and families. Why not enjoy a wander around the palace and see how Kings and Queens live!

The Udderbelly Festival

The Udderbelly Festival returns to the Southbank this year with a host of events for the whole family. Comedy shows are joined by theatre and dance performances. There are family shows and improv and even the odd musical or two! Nestled in Jubilee Gardens, the Udderbelly Festival is right next to the London Eye, so why not take in a flight while you’re there, for some of the best views in London.

The Horniman museum and gardens are hosting their annual Easter Fair. A great family day out, there is everything from Easter trails to craft workshops and storytelling performances. Inside, there’s even a Lego exhibit for those budding builders!



The Magic Garden – Hampton Court Palace

Hampton Court Palace is a wonderful day out where you can explore the kitchens of Henry VIII, see the beautiful chapel, and discover all about Tudor history!
