February Fun at the VSC


This half term join us at the Victory Services Club as a base while you and the little ones explore the capital. Take a look at some of our adventurous ideas to keep the little ones entertained!

Imagine children's festival

Wednesday 14th – Sunday 24th February

Enjoy children’s theatre shows, art installations and a comedy club most of which are free! Don’t miss a-list authors like Jacqueline Wilson, Malore Blackman and Chris Riddell who’ll ensure the kids are entertained with brilliant tales!

London puddle jumping championships

Friday 16th – Sunday 24th February

Prepare to get soaked (hopefully not you) as the kids take part in the London Puddle Jumping Championships at the London Wetlands Centre. The course comprises of a wet obstacle course with puddles and there’s a winner crowned every day! Warm up by the fire at the VSC afterwards.

Knight school

Friday 16th – Sunday 24th February

Have you got what it takes to become a knight in shining armour? Train as a page, then a squire before becoming a knight! Create your own helmet or shield!

Little soldiers

Friday 16th – Sunday 24th February

Step into a giant board game at the National Army Museum and play against friends and family. You’ll have to complete tasks and First World War themed challenges… Free!

can you Adam and Eve it?

Friday 22nd February

Pull on your ones and twos and get your plates of meat down to the Museum of London Docklands for an interactive workshop on all things Cockney rhyming slang. Kids aged 5+ can have a go at making up their own phrases as part of a wider programme of half-term workshops that includes making old-school peg dolls (Feb 18 & 22), crafting a model of a Billingsgate Porter (Feb 19 & 20) and doing the Lambeth Walk (Feb 20).
