February Half Term in London

Spring is on its way to London and if you’re staying with us during the February half term, there’s plenty going on in and around town.


imagine children's festival 

Wednesday 7th – Sunday 18th February

Head over to the Southbank Centre and join the fun at the annual Imagine Children’s Festival. This year the festival’s focus is on children’s literature and theatre. There will be interactive music performances, puppetry, storytelling and more! There will even be a chance to meet the children’s author Jacqueline Wilson. Most of the events are free, but some may require booking.

navigation challenge 

Saturday 10th – Sunday 18th February

The National Army Museum is inviting families to create a whole new world this half term! Use a number of different craft materials and your navigation skills to create a map and a compass to navigate your new world. Be inspired to create mountains, rivers, and seas and make new creatures to live in your world. Free event.

Open throughout half term

Take the Central Line to Stratford where you’ll find a trampoline park inside a former theatre building, great fun for the kids but also the adults too! There’s plenty of jumping fun to be had with a range of different trampoline areas. There’s also a café and restaurant onsite to clench your thirst after all that bouncing around.

Book ahead for 1 hour of free jumping for £12.


chinese new year 

Sunday 18th February

Chinese New year officially begins on Friday 16th February, however, festivities in London take place on Sunday 18th February from 10am – 6pm. Celebrate the year of the dog in Chinatown. Marvel at the bright and beautiful handcrafted floats which starts at Trafalgar Square, the parade will then dance its way through the streets on Shaftsbury Avenue to Chinatown.

vsc kids packs 

Pick up a VSC Kids pack during your stay at the Club. The pack includes lots of fun things for the kids to do plus an entry to our ‘my trip to the VSC’ competition where we’ll pick the best drawings and the winner will receive a mini VSC bear.
