Things To Do During This Lockdown

Struggling to keep yourself occupied during the 2021 Lockdown, don't fret, we have some inspiring ideas to keep you and the little ones entertained.

PE with Joe Wicks is Back

Joe Wicks is back this lockdown to spread fitness and health among the Nation. The fitness classes were first started up by The Body Coach last year when the country went into its first lockdown on Monday, March 23. Joe began running these sessions to keep kids across the nation active and healthy despite being cooped up inside. Now, the famous workout videos are being brought back for 2021, once again to promote health and fitness during the coronavirus pandemic.

The workout sessions will be streamed live on his Youtube Channel on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9am. You can join here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ

Learn a new language

Now we’re in lockdown again, it’s the perfect time to try a new skill and learn a new language. Duolingo has a range of languages you can learn and to top it off, it’s free! https://www.duolingo.com/

Paint a Picture

Get creative and get painting. Amazon has a huge amount of art supplies where you can channel your inner Picasso. Alternatively, if that seems a bit daunting try a paint by numbers – great fun for adults and kids alike and highly addictive when you get going! Take a look here.

Try Some VSC Recipes

During the first lockdown we published recipe cards from our Chefs here at the Club. From cinnamon rolls to vegan lemon cake – try them for yourself! View the recipe cards here.

Look Into Your Ancestry

Now we have more time on our hands, why not look into your family tree, you might discover some amazing things! Ancestry.co.uk records include everything from censuses, wills, birth records among many others. It’s also a great way to keep in touch with current family members and gives you an excuse to ring them up. Take a look here.
