London Zoo

Can’t make it to see the wild animals on Safari this year? No problem, London Zoo have re-opened and are ready to welcome you safely. The London Zoom is based in Regents Park, just a short walk away from the VSC.

Tower of London

The Tower of London is open Wednesday – Sunday each week. Explore the grounds of the Tower of London and see if you can spot the infamous ravens (that supposedly never leave the Tower) then visit the crown jewels and the White Tower.

Kensington Palace

Kensington Palace will be re-opening from the 30th July.

Kensington Palace is currently the home of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and was formally the residence of Diana, Princess of Wales. Kensington Palace is seeped in history and easily accessible through Hyde Park.

London Bus Tours

From the beginning of August you will be able to explore London by Bus as the Hop-on Hop -off London Bus Tour will resume service. Exploring London By Bus is the ideal way to fit in all the sights of the City without having to exert too much energy!  You will be driven through the famous Parliament Square, home to Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, go past the iconic London Eye as you enjoy the hustle and bustle of London’s Southbank area, see the city’s biggest skyscraper, The Shard, visit the golden gates of Buckingham Palace, the majestic St Paul’s Cathedral and much more. With audio commentary throughout giving you the chance to learn more about the capital, it is the perfect way to get to know London, regardless of the time or your budget!

Imperial War Museum London

The Imperial War Museum is set to re-open on Saturday 1st August. The IWM based in Lambeth explores conflict from WW1 to the present day. It’s a great place to take the kids with all of its history and displays.

The NHM is due to re-open on Wednesday 5th August, perfect timing for the school holidays. Delve deep into the history of nature and discover something new.

SUP (Stand-Up Paddle boarding) in Paddington

You can’t do water sports in London? Yes you can! Stand-up paddle boarding is a great way to get fit and meet new people. If you want to try the world’s fastest growing watersports right here in London, starting on 18 April, Active 360 are offering two free 30-minute taster sessions every Wednesday evening. This session is designed to give you a brief introduction to SUP, before committing to a full session.
