Last night, the Victory Services Club was proudly awarded Housekeeping Team of the Year at the prestigious 2026 Triple ‘H’ Awards in Stratford-upon-Avon. The evening was attended by members of the VSC Housekeeping Team and CEO and Club Secretary of the VSC, Colin Francis CBE.

The awards celebrate excellence across the housekeeping profession, recognising the individuals and teams whose professionalism, dedication and exceptional service elevate the guest experience.

The team was nominated by an external supporter of the Club, making the recognition particularly meaningful and a testament to the strong impression the team makes on members, guests and those who work alongside them.

Led by Housekeeping Manager, Tamara Pacochova, the VSC’s 37-strong team represents nine nationalities and has almost 200 years of combined service. Together, its members care for 200 bedrooms and the Club’s extensive public and event spaces, supporting approximately 63,000 room nights and welcoming around 90,000 overnight guests each year.

The nomination highlights the team’s exceptional loyalty, inclusive culture and commitment to developing colleagues internally. It also recognises the resilience demonstrated during the three-month refurbishment of the Housekeeping corridor. Despite operating from around 40% of its usual space and rerouting more than 60 bags of linen through the building each day, the team maintained its standards with minimal disruption to members and guests.

General Manager at the VSC, Mark Field, commented on their success: “We are incredibly proud of our Housekeeping Team. They are one of the most dedicated teams I have had the privilege of working with, and they take enormous pride in everything they do.

“Housekeeping is often the department guests never see, but the results of its work are visible everywhere. Every clean bedroom, welcoming corridor and positive first impression begins with this team. Its members are the unsung heroes of the Victory Services Club, and this recognition is thoroughly deserved.”
