What we will need to verify your membership

 

You will need to send a passport sized photograph, proof of address (a photocopy of a drivers license, utility bill etc) and proof of service.  If you are unable to supply proof of service at the present time, the membership office is still able to process your application on the condition that proof of service documentation will be sent within 12 months of the application being received by the Membership Secretary.  Membership of the VSC will not be finalised until documentary proof of service is supplied.

 

How to get proof of service

Membership of the Club will not be accepted without documentary proof that you have served in the Armed Forces.  This should be a photocopy or scanned copy, as we are unable to return any original documents.  Applications for membership will not be considered if this information is not provided within 12 months of the application being recieved.  We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not have the required identification, whether currently serving or ex-services.

 

Once you have possession of proof of service a photocopy can either be faxed to 020 7616 8344, scanned and sent as an attachment to mem@vsc.co.uk or posted to the Membership Secretary.
