"Haven for Heroes”

To demonstrate our support for British Personnel serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Middle East* and to thank them for their commitment and bravery the VSC offers substantial discounts to those returning on R&R or post operational tour leave from those theatres. Below the Haven for Hero rates are shown against our standard price for a Memorial Wing Room.

Our “Haven for Heroes” scheme offers a special room rate of only £32.50 per night for a single en-suite room, £45 for a double, and £65 for a family room for those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan (this includes Pakistan, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Omar, Yemen, Libya and at sea in the Arabian Gulf who are supporting our troops in Afghanistan). This offer has been extended until 31st December 2012.  How about that for value for money in Central London!

 

Haven for Heroes eligibility is only for British Serving Armed Forces men & women who have served in these theatres within the past 6 months or whilst on R&R.  A letter of proof of Service in Theatre on headed paper, signed by your Unit Admin Officer, is required on all bookings.

These rates are available until 31st December 2012. The letter of proof of Service needs to be given by the latest day of arrival for the discount to be applied.  Full details of eligibility and requirements are available from the Reservations Department (Rates quoted are for Memorial Wing Rooms only.) Allied Forces personnel are only eligible for H4H if they have served in Iraq & Afghanistan with British Forces under British control in the last 6 months.  

 

This includes SAF in Pakistan, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Omar, Yemen, Libya and at sea in the Arabian Gulf who are supporting our troops in Afghanistan.  The scheme is on offer to those who return on a mid-tour R&R break and at the end of their operational tour.
